Thomas S. Harmon

Mr. Harmon is a partner with the Firm and has practiced law in San Antonio since 1981 when he received a Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary's University School of Law. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Kent State University in 1974. Tom is licensed to practice in the State of Texas as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Claims, and the United States District Courts- Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.

As an attorney with ELMSHARMONMACCHIA, LLC, Tom brings over 25 years of experience, with an exhaustive background in creditors' rights, bankruptcy, construction law and commercial litigation. He has served as a briefing attorney for the 9th Court of Appeals, Beaumont, Texas under Justice Quentin Keith.

Tom is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the San Antonio Bar Association. He is also a member of the San Antonio Bankruptcy Bar Association, and has helped present seminars on both creditors' rights and construction law.

In addition to his involvement with the Bar, Tom has been active in the community through his service on the Board of Trustees for the San Antonio Bar Foundation. For several years, he chaired the HEB/Courthouse 10K Run, presented by the Bar Foundation, held to benefit the Police Athletic League and other local charities. He is also a member of the Alamo Executives Association and Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.
