Stephanie Macchia
Ms. Macchia is a native of San Antonio and has practiced law in Bexar County for over 17 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Juris Doctor degree in 1989 from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio. Stephanie is licensed to practice in the State of Texas as well as before the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. Stephanie's primary area of practice is in transactional work, such as real estate, contracts, formation of business entities and sales of businesses. She is also experienced in handling banking, probate, construction and business litigation matters. Prior to her affiliation with ELMS Stephanie is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Real Estate and Trust, and Probate Sections of the State Bar, San Antonio Bar Association, and Bexar County Women's Bar Association. In addition to her involvement with the Bar, Stephanie is very active in civic organizations in San Antonio. She is a member of the Alamo Heights Rotary Club where she has served on the Board of Directors since 1994, and has held numerous offices, including President of the Alamo Heights Rotary Club for the year 1999-2000. She serves as an Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 5840. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor of the Rotary Foundation. Stephanie is also involved with the Animal Defense League, a no-kill shelter in San Antonio. She has served on the Resource Committee and is dedicated to volunteering regularly at the shelter. Remarkably, Stephanie is also very involved in the music scene of San Antonio. ELMS |
